Ok, before anyone harrasses me over the donate button, I am going to try to get some decals made that I will send to anyone who donates $5.00 or more. This site has been created to document, and make public (at least a good portion of it) the current build, and status of the LSJ powered ION Redline. Keep an eye on this front page, as it will alert you to the current modifications being done to the car, as well as when new images and video are up in the media gallery. Read below to get a history of the car as it is right now, at the creation of this site. Also, there will be a big announcement very soon here, as well as a few other sites, so keep your eyes open!
The car started life as an 06' Saturn ION Redline, rated at the crank for 205hp and 200 lb-ft of torque. After only one modification (K&N Typhoon CAI), the car was strapped to a dyno and hammered out 223whp. Not to bad for a start! Since then the car has undergone a few other upgrades. These include fueling, tuning, pulleys, and suspension upgrades to date, and can be found in the build and modification sections of the site.
This site will also highlight the car's performance on the track. This car knows no boundaries when it comes to the track. It will not be a one trick pony. This car will be seen at drag strips, time attacks, auto-x, and more. The race page of this site will show and recount all racing events, such as standings, timeslips, and any worth while stories to post.
